A Celebration of our Society's 15th  and NADFAS' 40th Anniversaries!

at Libertas, Buckland Touts Saints, by kind invitation of Johnny and Rosalind Spears.
6.00pm to 8.30pm

Come and listen to a concertof fine Trad Jazz, featuring John Sterry on piano; Joe Sterry, tenor sax and Richard Spilsbury on bass. Also to appear is the talented Jonathan Swinnard, now in his final year at Kingsbridge Community College and winner of a music scholarship to Oxford University. He is both a classical pianist  and a fine jazz musician who plays a mean Scott Joplin!

Also enjoy some Pimms, Canapés, and weather permitting, conclude with a  tour of the beautiful garden...

At the Thurlestone Hotel

SILVER & SOCIAL CUSTOM

Mr Ian Pickford made a welcome return to KEDFAS. He  used slides of contemporay paintings and objects that illustrated and brought to life the evolution of social custom and its influence on silver from 1066 through to the early 19th century.

      Two gardens with private guided tours with lunch at
                                    Carlyon Bay Hotel.

This visit, on a sunny and warm day, proved to be a memorable experience, hugely enjoyed by the 40 members of KEDFAS lucky enough to join the group.
